The Shaanxi Association of Canada successfully held the first lecture of its 2024 Cloud Series

The lecture, titled "Dental Health Grand Lecture Hall," was hosted by Vice President Liu Xiaowen and featured Alice Wang, a registered dental hygienist in Ontario with 13 years of experience. Wang has been actively involved in community public lectures, promoting dental health knowledge and improving oral health awareness among Chinese communities.

During the one-hour lecture, Wang detailed dental health knowledge, explained the Canadian government's dental health plan (CDCP), and answered participants' dental questions. This session not only enhanced everyone's understanding of dental health but also helped participants learn how to utilize government resources for dental care.

The event also included a raffle to increase engagement and interaction. Participants had the chance to win cash prizes, with the first prize of $30 won by a lucky Ms. Li, and second and third prizes won by Mr. Zhang and Ms. Wang, respectively.

Participants highly praised the lecture, expressing that they gained practical dental health and information security knowledge and felt the warmth and care of the Shaanxi Association. Many continued to actively communicate and share their insights in the group after the lecture ended.

The success of this lecture laid a solid foundation for the future development of the Shaanxi Association's Cloud Series. The association's directors stated that they would continue to organize more lectures with rich themes and practical content to provide more services and support to Shaanxi natives in Canada. They also welcomed more members to join the association and work together to create a better life.

The Shaanxi Association of Canada is dedicated to providing a platform for Shaanxi natives in Canada to connect, promote cultural heritage, and organize various activities beneficial to the community, making everyone feel the warmth of home even in a foreign land.
