As part of the "Living in Canada" lecture series, part of the celebrations for its 25th anniversary in 2026, the Shaanxi Association of Canada successfully hosted an online public lecture on October 4th, 2025 (Saturday) at 8 PM. The lectures focused on "A Complete Guide to AP Courses" and "Guide to Homeownership in Top School Districts." This event, a key part of the 25th anniversary celebrations, provided practical guidance on education planning and homeownership investment for members and community families, helping overseas Chinese families achieve success in their children's education and homeownership.

The lectures addressed two core issues of greatest concern to overseas Chinese families—children's education and homeownership. Two experienced experts provided in-depth explanations and interactive Q&A sessions, offering scientific and forward-looking solutions. The first half of the lecture featured Dr. Judy Jin, an international education planning expert from McCanny Private High School, presenting "A Complete Guide to AP Courses: Seize the Opportunity, Win the Future!" Dr. Jin, incorporating the latest policies from 2026, provided an in-depth analysis of AP (Advanced Placement) exam trends and course selection strategies. She shared tips on how to scientifically plan time, avoid common pitfalls, and transform AP scores into a competitive advantage for top university applications. She also introduced practical methods for saving time and tuition fees through credit transfer, providing invaluable educational planning insights for students and parents in grades 8-11.

The second half featured renowned school district real estate expert, Real Estate Expert Li, presenting "Top School Districts in Toronto, Markham, and Richmond Hill—The First Choice for Families Choosing Schools and Homes!" Based on the latest market data and community analysis, Li Ge provided a detailed interpretation of the rankings and school district boundaries of top high schools in Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, and other areas.
