The First Digital Lecture of the Shaanxi Association's 2024 Cloud Series Has Successfully Concluded

The Shaanxi Association of Canada successfully held the first digital lecture of the 2024 Cloud Series on June 16, 2024. Conducted via the Zoom platform, the lecture attracted a large number of Shaanxi compatriots in Canada and concluded successfully.

Lecture Topic and Content

The theme of this lecture was “Comprehensive Dental Health Class”, hosted by Vice President Liu Xiaobin (刘晓斌) and presented by Alice Wang (王昱). Alice Wang is a registered dental hygienist in Ontario, Canada, with 13 years of professional experience and extensive expertise. Over the years, she has actively conducted community service lectures, dedicated to promoting dental health knowledge and raising awareness of oral care among the Chinese community.

During the one-hour lecture, Alice Wang provided a detailed introduction to dental health knowledge, explained the Canadian government's Dental Care Program (CDCP), and answered dental-related questions from participants. This session not only enhanced attendees' understanding of dental health but also helped them learn how to utilize government resources for oral care.

As the main presenter, Green Life Dental Center operates two branches located in Scarborough and North York. The clinics are staffed with several experienced and highly skilled Chinese dentists who are renowned for their excellent reputation and provide comprehensive dental care services. Interactive and Lucky Draw Session

To make the lecture more engaging and interactive, a lucky draw was included in the event. Participants had the chance to win cash prizes through a live draw. The grand prize of $30 was won by the lucky Ms. Li. The second prizes of $20 each were awarded to Mr. Zhang and Ms. Wang, while the third prizes of $10 each were shared by three lucky participants. This segment not only enlivened the atmosphere but also boosted participants’ enthusiasm and satisfaction.

In the last part of the lecture, continue to popularize the "Preventing Telecommunications and Internet Fraud" series of lectures, and improve education and self-prevention awareness through specific cases, which has achieved great results. At the same time, guide participants to actively promote information security knowledge to family and friends, and jointly improve community and self-safety prevention capabilities.

Participants gave high praise for the lecture, expressing that they not only gained practical knowledge about dental care and get to know common fraud methods and improve awareness of prevention.
