Friendships Forged Through Table Tennis – Shaanxi Association's "Northwest Wolves" vs. "Yang Qun" Table Tennis Friendship Match Successfully Held

On the evening of November 15, 2025, a unique table tennis friendship match was held at the MTTC Club. The Shaanxi Association's "Northwest Wolves" and "Yang Qun" table tennis teams jointly presented a thrilling match, creating a lively atmosphere filled with laughter and cheers.

The match adopted a unique team competition format: each side fielded 6 mixed doubles pairs and 6 men's doubles pairs, totaling 48 players. Each round consisted of one doubles match and two singles match, with each match played to 11 points (2 games). This ingenious format ensured both the intensity of the competition and enhanced communication between the players.

Unique Pre-Match Advertising and Promotion:

During the match, Zhou Zhijun, President of the Shaanxi Association, and Liu Xiaobin, Vice President, personally attended to cheer on the players.

Coach Yang of "Yang Qun," sponsor Mr. Lu, and technical advisor Li Pu were also present to cheer on the team.

After four hours of intense competition, the results were evenly matched. "Yang Qun" performed brilliantly in the men's doubles, securing the top two spots. The "Northwest Wolves" team, on the other hand, dominated the mixed doubles, occupying four of the top four positions.

After the competition, Zhou Zhijun, president of the Shaanxi Association, presented awards to the men's doubles winners: "Yang Qun" finished 1st, 2nd, and 6th among the top six pairs, while the Northwest Wolves team finished 3rd, 4th, and 5th.

Coach Yang of "Yang Qun" table tennis team presented awards to the mixed doubles winners: "Northwest Wolves" finished 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th among the top six pairs, while Yang Qun finished 5th and 6th.

In the final championship match, "Yang Qun" emerged victorious, winning a grand prize of Xifeng liquor sponsored by the Shaanxi Association.

Shaanxi Xifeng Distillery sponsored this event. The Shaanxi Association also provided generous prizes and sponsorship for the competition.

At this grand event, the "Northwest Wolves" table tennis team also held its second team uniform distribution ceremony to express gratitude once again to Zhang Hongbin and Weng Xiangquan for sponsoring the team uniforms for the Northwest Wolves players.

For this collaboration, Mr. Lu from Jinshi Wealth generously sponsored the venue fee and the competition balls for "Yang Qun".

The Xifeng liquor sponsored by the Shaanxi Association was won by Tony, a player from the "Yang Qun" team, through a lucky draw.

Zhang Hongbin, captain of the "Northwest Wolves" team, also sponsored the lucky draw prizes for the event: sweatshirts and premium paint, adding another surprise to the event. Lucky winners included Mike Zheng, Ningning, Guo Xiaoye, John Sun, Zhou Jun, Zhou Zhijun, Haidong, and Lin Hui.
