Congratulations to the Ansai Waist Drum Team of the Shaanxi Association for Another Distinguished Honor

At the Ninth Chinese Poetry Spring Festival Gala and Second Toronto Poetry Cultural Festival, the Canadian Shaanxi Association was honored with the “Outstanding Performance Group Award” for its exceptional performance. Among the highlights, the association's Ansai Waist Drum Troupe delivered a breathtaking drum performance that showcased the rich folk artistry of Shaanxi, earning unanimous acclaim from both the audience and the judge.

This event brought together numerous Chinese poetry enthusiasts and performance groups, showcasing the unique charm of Chinese culture through poetry recitations, music, dance, and other art forms. The Ansei  Waist Drum Troupe from the Shaanxi Association delivered a powerful and majestic performance, their thunderous drumbeats bringing the bold spirit of the Loess Plateau to Toronto's stage and infusing the entire event with the rich cultural essence of northern Shaanxi.

This award not only recognizes the dedication of the Shaanxi Association's cultural team but also serves as an inspiration for the preservation and advancement of Shaanxi's traditional culture overseas.
