The Ansai Waist Drum Team of the Shaanxi Association of Canada was established in 2024, dedicated to promoting Ansai Waist Drum, an intangible cultural heritage of Shaanxi Province, showcasing the unique charm of traditional Chinese culture with its bold and unrestrained drumbeats. Since its establishment, the team has actively participated in various cultural events in Canada, frequently serving as the opening act, becoming an important force in showcasing Shaanxi culture. In 2025, the team received funding from the Canadian government, providing stronger support for further promoting Shaanxi culture.

After a year of development, the influence of the Shaanxi Association Ansai Waist Drum Team has continued to expand, and in 2025 it has received strong financial support from the Canadian government. In the future, the waist drum team will continue to perform more wonderful shows, allowing more people to understand and love this unique traditional Shaanxi art, and making the "sound of the Loess Plateau" resonate overseas!
